Scientific breakthroughs and technical innovations have enabled the creation of the STEINER-Vision DSI+ lens. Unlike typical progressive lenses, it undergoes processing on both front and back surfaces during production, a novel approach that eliminates imaging errors on the front surface through compensation surfaces on the rear. This dual-sided manufacturing reduces distortion at the lens periphery, minimizing phenomena like “rocking effects” experienced, for instance, when ascending stairs.
